Integrating Wellness with Biodynamic Craniosacral Τherapy

As a certified Craniosacral practitioner, I work with the subtle biodynamic forces that flow through the body to promote holistic well-being. My training is trauma-informed, and I prioritize building a trusting, secure connection in a nonjudgmental environment in my practice.

I first discovered Craniosacral Therapy in 2017 while researching various bodywork techniques to support mothers and babies during pregnancy and after childbirth. After experiencing its remarkable healing potential, I am passionate about offering Craniosacral Therapy to others, especially parents, infants, and young children because it has been incredibly beneficial on my journey into parenthood.

When I discovered Craniosacral Therapy, I was surrounded by people who were experiencing pain or illness. This environment inspired me to retrain as a Craniosacral therapist, despite having a prior career as an architect. Deep down, I have always known that working with my hands in this profound way is my true calling. Driven by the desire to provide others with the opportunity to embrace the healing benefits of this therapy, I delved deeply into its study and sought to incorporate wellness holistically.

Qualifications

I trained for two and a half years at Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust (CTET) | cranio.co.uk, one of the most reputable schools for Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy in London, accredited by IABT | The International Affiliation of Biodynamic Trainings and I graduated in 2021 as a qualified Biodynamic Craniosacral therapist (B.C.S.T.).

During my training, I learned from highly qualified tutors. I gained a deep understanding of anatomy, developed my holding and verbal skills, and had the opportunity to practice at a Craniosacral Therapy Clinic in London.

I attended post-graduate seminars about treating pregnant mothers, babies, and children.

I completed Peter Levine’s online program called "The Body As Healer,” a naturalistic approach to healing from chronic pain and trauma that resonates greatly with the Craniosacral approach.

I am dedicated to my professional growth and regularly attend workshops and seminars.

I have been a registered member of ICRA | icra-uk.org since graduation.

Having no expectations, I went into my first session with an open mind. I had no idea when I first laid on the bed how I would feel afterwards. And by the end, I felt calm, relaxed, and enlightened with this new experience. I couldn't believe how quickly I felt the benefits. The aches and pains I went in with had eased. I have TMJ and I Iiterally felt something shift from one side of my jaw to the other. I felt instantly more balanced and more even, so to speak.

I have been having sessions with Christina for the past 18 months and can’t recommend her enough. I had no previous experience of Craniosacral therapy but I found the whole experience very rewarding and beneficial. Always very relaxing and often fell asleep during the session. The main benefit was the feeling of well-being afterwards , I felt revived, and it was always followed by a very good nights sleep. I miss the sessions terribly and look forward to Christina’s next visit back to London!

I found my sessions with Christina very relaxing and soothing. It was quite common during and after my sessions to feel pain relief and flow in my body where previously it felt blocked or stuck. I would sometimes feel quite tired after our sessions but ultimately improved. On one session in particular, upon her gentle touch, I felt flooded with light and energy.
